State University of Telecommunications "International Girls in ICT Day"

On April 18, at 17:00, a conference devoted to the International Day "Girls in ICT" took place in the conference hall of the State University of Telecommunications, which was held in the format of the round table.

Highly qualified specialists who worked in this field and achieved significant success were invited to share their experience with students, namely:

- Galina Andreevna Suslova, Director of the Institute of ICAO, Professor of the Department of Preservation, Airworthiness of the Aviation Engineering at the Aerospace Institute of the National Aviation University, representative of the Public organization Union of Women's Organizations of Solomyansky District;

- Tsyhak Viktoria, IT Security specialist, ZEO ALLIANCE;

- Shashlova Eleonora, Senior Engineer of the Network of Access Network Construction Services, Department of Construction of the Ukrtelecom PJSC network;

- Prykhodko Oksana, director of the international non-governmental organization "European Media Platform", member of ICANN EURALO.

All of them occupy positions that, at first glance, are by no means connected. But they are united by one - information and communication technologies. It was incredibly interesting for all present to learn something new about the world of ICT and how to realize their potential in it. 

Note that besides the girls, a significant proportion of the students were boys, who also showed a high interest in the realization of women in ICT. 

In the final of this action, Iryna Pokhabova, Head of the students department at the State University of Telecommunications, presented the speakers certificates for participating in the round table devoted to the International Day Girls in ICT.
