April 25 marks the International Day of Girls in ICT, promoted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), aims to reduce the digital gender gap, encourage and motivate girls to participate in technology careers. With the support of the ISOC Chapters and local civil society organizations, we are going to commemorate the International Girls' Day in ICT with a global marathon of training in digital skills development. In this sense, Women SIG for the second year promotes global actions to promote gender balance in the ICT sector and develop skills and digital leadership among girls and young women. With the support of the Internet Society chapters, we will have a global event of interactive digital skills workshops on security and privacy issues with the support of government, civil society, academia, private sector, and technical community.
