Doers is a humanitarian organization working towards resilience, sustainability and empowerment in the Himalayan region of India. Besides our primary work in the domain of Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation, we have been promoting the use of ICTs as a vehicle for sustainable mountain development. For the past four years, we have been building the capacities of the Government Officials and leaders of Civil Society Organizations in the domain of #ICT4D with our enriching training sessions at renowned institutions such as the Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Administration (HIPA), Shimla.

On the occasion of the upcoming International Girls in ICT Day, Doers is going to train the female students and budding professionals from Himachal Pradesh University by conducting a DoITBetter Bootcamp aimed at building their capacities in the area of #ICT4D. 

The 3-hour long DoITBetter Bootcamp promises to give the participants a unique opportunity to learn the following aspects of ICTs with the help of hands-on exercises:

• Social Media for Development
• Collaboration Tools for Productivity at Work
