Once again, Bermuda joined the global movement that celebrates International Girls in ICT Day on April 27th.

The Department of ICT Policy and Innovation (IPI) celebrated the day in three different ways, including two competitions for all of the Island’s students, from Primary to Senior Schools– and this is where you come in.

1.            We designed a poster depicting some of Bermuda’s very own leaders in the ICT industry for all primary school students (girls and boys) to colour.

2.            Middle and secondary school students were also included in our celebrations! They were invited to produce a 90-second video clip that centres on girls and women and their view of and/or involvement in ICT in Bermuda..

3.            Last but not least, the community at large was invited to participate in our efforts to celebrate the inspiring women in ICT who are active in industry by nominating a woman who stands out in the Island’s ICT sector!

The winners of all three competitions will be announced on April 27th, 2016 at an invitation-only International Girls in ICT Day Celebration.
