Event Description: As a proud member of the EQUALS Global Partnership,  Pro Mujer has organized two workshops with expert partners in Guatemala to address the digital gender divide and celebrate International Girl's Day in ITC during the month of April. By leveraging alignment, resources and the expertise with local partners SERES and Sheva we will implement Sheva's "Connected" mobile training expanding knowledge and skills in digital literacy and connectivity  to 40 girls (ages 14-17). 

The girls will gain new digital abilities and broaden their mastery of smart phones and mobile apps such as Facebook, Canva, Whatsapp, Google Docs, and others to help them grow as young women and leaders in their communities and better leverage these tools for success in the future. 

Date: April 4th and May 3rd of 2019. 

Where: SERES and Pro Mujer Center in Tecpán, Guatemala.
