Vision: Closing the ICT gender gap for the future generation in Liberia

Mission: Encourage  girls/women to consider career in ICT, create awareness,training,mentorship and advocating for the growth of female in the sector. 

Having observed over the years, it was established that a greater percentage of women in Liberia both in urban and rural areas are lacking behind Information and Communication Technology and other relevant areas that are necessary if they should be part of the reconstruction and development process of our dear nation.

Secondly, we realized that most women and girls in Liberia are not being involved with most jobs involving the use of Information and Communication Technology thereby; leaving those jobs to the male counterparts as their sole responsibility.

Inorder to have more women in ICT, Women in Information Communication & Technology inc (WICT) is encouragings girls,women to consider career in ICT and also mentoring them so that after they have become ICT profession , they will also serve as  mentor for other girls/women in their schools,community etc.You can not be what you can not see.

The more women in ICT, the more girls that will consider career in ICT.

Women in Information Communication Technology Inc joined the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications for an official program making the celebration of" Girls in ICT Day" which hosted ICT stake holder,ICT students from various university and 21 school girls from both Bomi and Montserrado County who are being mentor by Women in Information Communication Technology Inc.
