Girls' Day is an internation, interactive free program organized Women in Science Association for girls visiting high school and upper secondary school. This is one of the biggest career guidance initiative for girls, covering many countries and organized on the same day across Europe: on 26 of April.

We are preparing a local event with our university partner. We are going to inform girls about the benefits of technology, engineering and IT sectors, thereby expanding their horizons and their image of working life. We hosted 60 girls in our new Ericsson House.

Our local program for Girls in ICT day:

• Who we are and what we do?
• Women in IT: informal conversation with Ericsson girls from different positions about why the best decision in their life was choosing technical career after their studies - and of course some encouragement for the young girls
• Walking in the new Ericsson House, Gemba tour in our trendy offices
• Work in a Team! Pizza baking game - how can we bake a pizza effectively together? What's common in software development and pizza baking?
• We close the day with common pizza eating and free discussions.
