First Girls in e-health Hackathon organized by Heaco in partnership with GoMyCode and Merck NWA

On this occasion, and as Tunisia is among the most advanced countries in healthcare in Africa, some amazing talented Tech-Girls took part at a brainstorming and coding session to come up with feasible e-health project ideas.  We have deliberately targeted the 14-20 years old segment, who are not yet well addressed by the entrepreneurship programs in Tunisia and even less with this specific sectorial lens.

With the participation of physicians and Tech & Health specialists, the topic of this first edition has covered infertility issue (cause of 22% of divorce in Tunisia) and how innovation can help realize the dream of parenthood.  The winner group will benefit from a summer camp in a coding school (to prototype the idea) along with an internship in Merck, a leading pharmaceutical company which is celebrating this year its 350th anniversary of sustainability and innovation.

Happy Girls in ICT Day !
