SYAH-Seychelles in Collaboration with Mauritius Commercial Bank Seychelles - "Robot Building and Programming Competition"

SYAH-Seychelles will be partnering with the Mauritius Commercial Bank (MCB) in Seychelles to host a “Robot Building and Programming Competition” to celebrate the International Girls in ICT Day 2018. There will be three days of Competition; 26^th, 27^th and 28^th of April 2018 and the competitions will be held on the 2 main islands of the Seychelles (Mahe and Praslin). Girls will come from Secondary Schools across the country and will have  hands-on experience of robot building and programming through the competitions. Each school will have the chance to enter a team of 4 girls from Secondary 3 to Secondary 5, and on each day the top three schools will be awarded with prizes which will include coding books and tablets. The highly interactive competitions will help girls from Seychelles to see ICT in a whole new light and ignite the thrill and excitement that surrounds ICT careers.
