The Department of Technology within the Government of St Kitts-Nevis has partnered with the Intellectual Property Office to organise a four-day event in celebration of International Girls in ICT Day & World IP Day. For the first three days, visits were made to high schools on the island to make girls (aged 12 & 13) aware of possible careers in ICT, and to encourage them to pursue studies/career in the ICT industry.

On the fourth day, groups of young ladies were brought to the National ICT Center and introduced to women in ICT and other STEM fields. Breakout sessions were conducted to expose them to concepts in robotics and augmented reality.
