We are partnering with MTN Ghana Foundation to celebrate Girls In ICT Day. According to a report by UNESCO only 3% of ICT Graduates globally are women. We need to do more to ensure that we have the female perspective in the technology that is created and women and girls have the skills needed for the future of work

The theme for this year is Expanding Horizons and changing attitudes. We will be teaching 50 girls from LA Bawaleshie Presbyterian school to build Android Apps using MIT App Inventor. The will also get to meet Women in Tech at MTN Ghana who will share their stories and inspire the girls on careers in Tech in a fireside chat. They will also hear from two ladies on why they choose to study Tech. The girls will also take part in an innovation challenge and win amazing awards. The #GirlsinICTDay will be an exciting experience that will expand horizons and change attitudes
