Celebrate launch of eCommerce website for Women market vendors and announcing the 2018 SMART Sistas Girls ICT Camp

The Women and Girls in ICT through the Department of Women’s Affairs (DPA) will launch the eCommerce website for the market vendors.  The development of the website is a history milestone for Vanuatu. This year’s celebrations is a very important event to see our achievement of the first authentic online shop for local vendors in Vanuatu to sell their handicrafts online.  

We are excited to celebrate our two main achievements, is the launch of the eCommerce website for the market vendors and the SMART Sistas participation announcement for girls ICT camp for 2018 including the First Global robotic competition of 2018.

 The eCommerce website for market vendors is an initiative to promote women using internet platform to enhance their business objectives and to leverage their sales and revenue. The vendors’ local products will be available on the global market for advertisement and purchase online. 

The eCommerce website link will be announced once it is launched and published online for shopping. This initiative was made possible through the funding provided by the Telecommunications and Radiocommunications Regulator (TRR) to fund its phase 1 & 2 of the project as part of the Consumer activities.
