International Girls in ICT Day by Plan International Bangladesh in Collaboration with BRAC, BIID and PreneurLab

‘International Girls in ICT Day’ is a global effort aims to create enabling environment to encourage and empower girls and young women to consider studies and careers in the growing fields of information and communication technologies (ICT).

On 27^th April 2017, for the very first time, Plan International Bangladesh celebrated the Day in Bangladesh along with Partner Organisation conducted an awareness raising event at North South University with the presence of students Govt. departments and relevant ICT stakeholder.

This year Plan International Bangladesh unites with BRAC, BIID and PreneurLab to mark ‘Girls in ICT Day - 2018’ on April 25 focusing on Breaking Barriers and Empowering Girls in ICT. The event will include Panel Discussion / Dialogue session among the Govt., ICT Minsitry University Professor, Employer and Private sectors at national Level. It will also include talks on success stories from community & female entrepreneur and presentation based on Research findings and best practices.
