Improving girls' skills with Robotics in Nicaragua

We will develop a workshop on robotics to show that girls can be creators of digital technology and solutions. It will be about educational robotics and its applications. We will have the participation of a woman expert in Robotics, who will tell her personal and professional experience in Robotics, to inspire girls.  We will also address issues related to the safeguarding of children in social networks.

Target Group                                                                                                        

Adolescent girls between 13 and 16 years old, from rural communities of 4 geographical areas of Nicaragua.

Impact/ Scope

60 women between 13 and 16 years will be empowered by reducing the gap in access to the creation of technology.

Families sensitized to break stereotypes of gender equality in the access and the creation of the technology for women.

Plan International positioned itself as a leading entity in the fulfilment of the rights of girls through the learning and creation of technologies.
