Unizar and AMIT-Aragón organise WikinformáticA!

Introducing High School Students to the use of Wikis and Structured Data.

Fourth edition of the contest WikinformáticA! in Aragón. This contest was designed in order to achieve the following main goals:
-Fostering collaborative work to create Wikis among High Schools students.
-Encouraging female students to study degrees related to Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
-Disclosing the history of prominent women in the field of ICT in order to serve as role-model for new generations of students.

All the teams were supervised by a teacher that guide the work of the students. The contest will be launched next 26th April 2018, as a celebration of the Girls in ICT Day. The organizers are a group of researchers from Zaragoza University and Association of Women Engineers and Technologist-Aragón.
