“Kanyashree Dishari”- a special Educational and Awareness exposure visit of Kanyashree Girls has been arranged to celebrate the Girls in ICT day in the District of North 24 Parganas of the State of West Bengal in India by District Magistrate, Smt. Antara Acharya, IAS. The following aspects have been covered in this exposure visit- - 1. All 22 Blocks and 25 Municipalities, 01 Municipal Corporation and 01 Cantonment Board under North 24 Parganas District has celebrated the auspicious day by arranging the exposure visit.
- 2. More than 9000(Nine Thousand) Kanyashree Girls have been participated.
- 3. Aim of the Project: Encouraging and strengthening of Girls on Education, Health, Economic activities without early marriage.
- 4. Objectives of the Project:
- a. To make fearless and familiar about Govt. Offices
- b. To gain Knowledge how Govt. Offices are functioning and using Information Technology.
- c.To acquire knowledge regarding various benefit of the citizens from Govt. Offices and the procedure of online application by using e-portal.
5.. The Girls visited different Govt. offices like Agriculture office, Rural Health center along with Anwesha Clinic, Land & Land Reforms office, Police Station, Block Development Office, Office of Forest Department, Banks, Gram Panchyat Office, Office of Minority Affairs 6.The following Subjects have been covered during the exposure visit. Girls on these type of exposure visit can learn regarding various beneficial scheme and procedure of application through e-portal which can make them confident, courageous and user friendly with IT tools.
