Girls in ICT Days in the Pacific organized by Asia-Pacific Telecommunity

In conjunction with the 10th Policy and Regulation Forum for the Pacific (PRPF) of Asia-Pacific Telecommunity which is held in Nadi, Fiji on 25 - 27 April 2017, an event on Girls in ICT day is being organized by APT. 

Policy makers and regulators gather together to share their activities and initiatives and discuss how to enrich involvement of female in ICT areas. 

The event will be opened and moderated by Ms. Areewan Haorangsi, Secretary General of APT and address the issue of Girls in ICT by inviting speakers from ITU and representatives from the Pacific, who are:

• - Mr. Wisit Atipayakoon, Programme Officer, ITU
• - Ms. Unutoa Fonoti, Regulator, Samoa
• - Ms. Dalsie Baniala, Regulator, Office of the Telecommunications and Radiocommunications Regulator. Vanuatu
• - Mr. Charles Punaha, CEO of NICTA, Papua New Guinea
