Tech4Girls Cyber-Security Course (Organized by GSMA Middle East and North Africa Office)

GSMA Middle East and North Africa (MENA) partnered with the American University of Science and Technology (AUST) in Beirut to deliver a cyber security course for 15 girls from local schools with no access and opportunities to work on computers. 

At the end all participants received a University certificate provided by AUST to certify their completion of the cyber security course.

The course was presented by the Chairman of the Technology department at AUST Dr. Elie Nasr while Mrs. Fida Sakr spoke about professional opportunities for women in the ICT sector in her capacity as an Advisor to the Chairman of Ogero, the main mobile operator in Lebanon.

Mr. Chadi Nemer, COO of Numbase, was invited to discuss the role and importance of technology in day to day life activities.
