TRYinitiative in conjunction with the Justice Development and Peace Centre, Holy Family Catholic Church, Festac Town, Lagos, Girls in ICT Day celebration 2019 featured talks from ICT experts in Nigeria. 

The two day event had 41 girls in attendance and 29 of them were selected among the participants and were taken on a tour to Digital Bridge Institute, DBI; owned by the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, where they were exposed to the many opportunities in the growing ICT/Technology space.

Six students participated in an oral quiz on "How they can improve things in their chosen field or career using ICT/Technology". The best 3 students were selected and will be awarded with gifts at a later date; on children's day celebration, May 27
