The Communications and Media Commission (CMC) of Iraq celebrates the International day for girls in ICT,

As part of the objectives and projects of the DU₃M 2018-2025 initiative and the International day for girls in ICT, the CMC, in cooperation with the mobile operators, organized field visits to standard girls' schools in Baghdad where CMC's and operator's women stuff shared their success stories in the ICT sector. To encourage the girls for developing their skills in this field because of its broad and innovative work horizon which have been merged with other important sectors.

On the other hand, the female students expressed their interest and happiness with such an initiative and raised many questions to the speakers which have been answered accordingly.

In addition, 10 female students were selected to visit the headquarters of the major telecommunications companies in Baghdad in order to truly witness how the ICT world really works.
