Information and Communication Technologies Authority (ICTA) of Turkey organized a special session for Girls in ICT day

The 13th International Electronic Communications Regulators Conference, an annual event organized since 2006 by the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (ICTA) of the Republic of Turkey, took place in Ankara on 2-3 May 2019 under the theme of "Transformation of Regulation with Digitalization".

During the Conference, on 3 May 2019, a special session dedicated to “Girls in ICT Day" was organized with the theme of "Expand Horizons, Change Attitude". At this special session, with participation of girl high school students their teachers and role model speakers from ICTs world shared their experiences and accomplishments and made inspiring presentations. Also, Girls in ICT Day 2019 video message from Ms. Doreen Bogdan was shown at the beginning of the session. 

Girl students and their teachers had also the opportunity to meet in person all the role model speakers and to discover the ICTA’s “Experience Center” which demonstrates various new technologies including vertical reality and many internet applications.
