eSkills Malta Foundation - 'ICT is in Everything'!

The gender balance within the digital sector is an issue which is close the eSkills Malta Foundation's mandates. On 2nd May 2019 and as part of the Girls in ICT day (celebrated on 25th April 2019), the eSkills Malta Foundation organised a 1/2 day event with students from  Year 9 (Form 3). The event consisted of   a total of 4-mini-workshops. They rotated and took part in  all 4 workshops. The main focus of the workshops was to boost students engagement of ICT and Computer Science, directing any of the 21st Century skills approach, namely, Critical thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, Information literacy, Media literacy, Technology literacy, Flexibility, Leadership, Initiative, Productivity, and Social skills.
