Probitas & Codeforsu - Create code, create the future

We are living in the digital era, where computers are increasingly becoming a bigger part of our daily life. But, a computer is just a machine that depends on external input to function. Therefor it is very important for people to understand that it is us, humans, who are responsible for turning modern day technology into useful applications. 

That's why we say: Create code, create the future.

Because if you learn how to "speak" computer language, you are able to tell a computer what to do and maybe your idea can change the world!

The world needs programmers, so this Girls in ICT Day we are on a mission to find coding talent in Klaaskreek, Brokopondo. We have room for 30 girls to participate in coding lessons, provided by Bomberbot. The girls will each get their personal Bomberbot account, which allows them to continue developing their newly gained 21st century skills in their own time and pace.

Following the coding lesson the girls will take a homemade Kahoot quiz, always a great and fun way to test newly gained skills.

After Girls in ICT Day Probitas and Codeforsu will always be there for the girls who are interested in making a future career out of programming by guiding them and making sure their blossoming talent will develop properly.

*Update* Despite having national internet issues, we still managed to help 15 girls make their first steps into the wonderful world of programming!
