"An open Day for Girls in ICT day,- Department of Information Technology and Telecom, Bhutan"

Department of Information Technology and Telecom(DITT), MoIC, Bhutan is organizing an Open day event to celebrate the Girls in ICT Day for the first time in Bhutan.

To mark the celebration, students (girls) from various local schools will be invited. The open day event will include showcasing of ICT workspaces where women work. Following workspaces will be showcased during the event:

• Women developers.
• Bhutan Computer Incident Response Team (BtCIRT) Workspace.
• Networking and system management in Bhutan Telecom.
• An animation company founded and operated by group of young girls in BhutanInnovation and Technology Centre(BITC) space.

The main objective is to inspire the students to be part of the ICT fraternity by opting ICT as their career path or to showcase them the opportunity in this sector.
