|
Girls' Day 2026 in Hungary brought together girls and young women aged 12–18 with leading technology companies, universities, and research institutions from across the country. The event offered attendees the opportunity to explore careers in STEM and ICT. Organised by the Association of Hungarian Women in Science (NaTE), this year's event featured 58 programmes in 18 cities.The initiative engaged 1,830 girls from over 400 schools in more than 120 cities and towns. Participants took part in hands-on workshops, laboratory visits, coding and engineering activities, interactive demonstrations and inspiring conversations with female STEM professionals.Through experiencing real workplaces and meeting role models, the girls gained practical insights into STEM careers, challenged stereotypes, and developed confidence in their future choices.As the national organiser of Girls' Day Hungary for the past 15 years, NaTE has continued to connect girls with the STEM community, supporting them in making informed educational and career choices while strengthening the future talent pipeline.
