Description of the event
|
As part of the 2026 International Girls in ICT Day, the association Women’s Wellness in Digital (2WD) organized an online training webinar on 23 April 2026 for its members, girls and young women interested in digital careers. The session, held via Google Meet, aimed to raise awareness of the wide range of opportunities in the ICT sector, highlight the skills required, and discuss some of the specific challenges that women may face in this field. Through a presentation delivered by Dr Barèrèm-Mêlgueba MAO, followed by an interactive Q&A session, participants gained a better understanding of ICT career paths and were encouraged to consider studies and professions in the digital domain as a way to actively contribute to the future of technology.
