“Girls in ICT Day 2026” in UlaanbaatarThe Communications Regulatory Commission of Mongolia, in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations Representative Office in Mongolia, successfully hosted the “Girls in ICT Day 2026” event today at the Grand Ballroom of Novotel Hotel.The event was designed to enhance female students’ understanding of the information and communication technology (ICT) sector and to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to protect their rights and ensure their safety in the digital environment.The event was attended by over 100 middle school students from general education schools in Ulaanbaatar. Participants engaged in open discussions with guest speakers on the importance of girls’ and women’s participation in the ICT sector, as well as the wide range of career opportunities available in this field.
