Description of the event
|
Girls in ICT Day is a global initiative led by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to encourage and empower girls and young women to pursue studies and careers in ICT. This year, 2026, the international theme is “AI for Development: Girls Shaping the Digital Future.” Internet Society Kenya Chapter will align with this theme by centering girls' voices in ICT to explore how Artificial Intelligence can promote Internet Governance, Responsible and ethical AI, Data protection, and Careers/Leadership in AI.
