In line with the global observance of Girls in ICT Day led by the InternationalTelecommunication Union (ITU), the Department of Information andCommunications Technology (DICT) Region IV-A reaffirms its commitment to promoting digital inclusion, gender equality and youth empowerment in the field of Information andCommunications Technology (ICT). Through a booth-based Tech Exploration Fair featuring interactive stations onArtificial Intelligence (AI), Cybersecurity, Coding, Digital Design and Innovationparticipants will gain foundational knowledge, practical skills and awareness of responsible technology use. The activity is designed not only to enhance digital skillsbut also to cultivate creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities andconfidence among young learners.By creating meaningful engagement opportunities at an early age, the DICT,together with its partners, aims to inspire the next generation of Filipina innovators,digital leaders and ICT professionals who will contribute to inclusive andsustainable digital transformation in the Philippines.
