|
“Digital Revolutionaries: Women Who Built the Digital World” is an interactive, educational, and inspirational lecture organized in Bar, Montenegro, to mark International Girls in ICT Day 2026, under this year’s global theme “AI for Development: Girls Shaping the Digital Future.”The lecture is delivered by Tara Miranović, a digital transformation and AI consultant from Bar, bringing international experience back to her local community and offering a perspective shaped by her work in technology.The session explores the history and “herstory” of digital innovation, from the era when women worked as “computers” to today’s leaders in AI. Through storytelling, data, and discussion, it highlights both progress and ongoing inequalities, while positioning AI as the next frontier, one that girls and young women are empowered to shape, define, and lead.As one of the first events of its kind in Bar focused on women’s contributions to the digital world, it aims to inspire girls and young women to see themselves as future creators of technology.The event is organized in collaboration with Europe House Bar (EHB) and the Municipality of Bar, and will take place on April 23, 2026, at EHB.
