TPRA Launches Intensive ICT Training Program for Girls in Al-Affad, Northern State Al-Affad: April 13, 2026.The Telecommunications and Post Regulatory Authority (TPRA) announced today the launch of an intensive training program dedicated to girls in the "Al-Affad" area of Ad-Dabbah locality, Northern State. This initiative comes as part of the celebrations for the International Girls in ICT Day.The first day of the program, organized and supervised by the Authority, witnessed great turnout and remarkable enthusiasm from the participants. Activities commenced with an introductory ice-breaking session, followed by the distribution of all technical supplies necessary for the designated tracks: Visual Programming using Scratch and Basics of Graphic Design.TPRA officials emphasized that the course aims to bridge the digital divide and empower girls in various regions by providing them with modern technological tools.
