Description of the event
|
The event intends to encourage girls to pursue careers in technology and telecommunications. It is divided into two main parts. The first one is oriented to the registration and opening session with international and national authorities, including representatives from ITU, UN, and Anatel, a panel on Artificial Intelligence for development, promoting inclusion and female empowerment, and the presentation of the Meninas Telecom program and a discussion with leaders and mentors. The second part of the day is dedicated to workshops covering topics such as personal branding and LinkedIn, entrepreneurship, technology hackathon, and behavioural profiling, followed by an “Inspiration Moment” panel, where students share experiences and career aspirations, and the session “Women Who Transform”, featuring professionals from engineering, regulation, and innovation. In short, the event combines talks, practical workshops, and inspirational sessions to motivate girls to engage in technology-related careers.
