Description of the event
|
From Idea to Prototype: Empowering Girls through Artificial IntelligenceThis activity is a hands-on workshop on artificial intelligence, designed to engage girls and young women in exploring how technology can be used to address real-life challenges. Through a structured “from idea to prototype” approach, participants will work in teams to identify a problem, generate solution ideas using artificial intelligence, and develop a simple prototype. The workshop includes practical sessions on using AI tools for ideation and problem-solving, defining a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), and building a conceptual prototype, followed by group presentations and reflection. The activity places a special emphasis on inclusion by actively engaging girls from underrepresented and marginalized communities, ensuring equal access to digital skills and opportunities in the field of artificial intelligence. By combining collaboration, creativity, and technology, this workshop aims to empower participants with self-confidence, future-ready skills, and a sense of ownership in creating innovative solutions for their communities.
