Girls in ICT 2026 – Global InitiativeTheme: “AI for Development: Girls Shaping the Digital Future”In alignment with the global vision of International Telecommunication Union and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the Community Development Foundation (CDF) and Global Women’s Development Network (GWDN) proudly co-host the 5th Round of Girls in ICT 2026 in strategic partnership with global stakeholders.This initiative is a transformative, multi-sectoral platform designed to:● Empower girls and young women with digital, AI, and future-ready skills● Bridge the gender digital divide across developing and underserved regions● Position girls as leaders in AI-driven development ecosystems● Foster global partnerships between governments, academia, the private sector, and civil societyThe 2026 edition focuses on Artificial Intelligence as a tool for inclusive development, ensuring that girls are not only participants but architects of the digital future.
