Description of the event
|
The Organization of Youth for a Secure Cyberspace (OJCS) is organizing a blogging competition in celebration of Girls in ICT Day 2026 to inspire young women to explore careers in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.The event invites young women aged 18 to 24 to write original articles on the theme “AI in Cybersecurity Careers Explained to Young Girls.” Through this initiative, participants will research, analyze, and explain how artificial intelligence is transforming cybersecurity professions and why these careers are important for the future digital world.The competition aims to encourage young women to develop their knowledge, critical thinking, and communication skills while promoting greater female participation in cybersecurity and emerging technologies.The ten best articles will be selected by a jury and compiled into a multilingual publication that will be translated into English, Fon, and Bariba to reach a wider audience and inspire more young girls to pursue careers in technology and cybersecurity.This initiative also seeks to amplify the voices of young women and contribute to building a more inclusive and secure digital future.
