Description of the event
|
Supported by the Gender Standing Group for the different country hosts, who will be composed of the executive team leadership members as primary host and point of contact. The events will take place in and from Colombia and South Africa to make room for all the different Gender Standing Group interest groups from different parts of the world. As well as this, these two countries are selected for the time difference in distance to allow members from all over the ISOC and Gender Standing group body to take part. Additionally two sataliete events will be held with the ISOC Zimbabwe as well as a local organisation in Brazil. The ISOC Gender Standing group proposes to host 2 training workshops on the day as a series of online and in person (hybrid) webinars, which will take place in the different regions of the world where the committee has a presence. These webinars and trainings will be held at the same time relative to the different regions and will be linguistically friendly to the different regions. As well as this, a very definitive idea on the term “girl” will be set out for any and all persons who identify as a girl and anyone else who would like to join this training, to

The Gender Standing Group (GSG) is a community of people working for an Internet that can be inclusive, accessible, open, safe, and a tool for women and gender-diverse people to reach their goals and break the bias by empowering them through community network, building their capacities in new technical knowledge and advocating for policies in their favor.
