Following the activities of the that have been running since February of Digital Literacy and Mentorship! one of the schools that participated in the Digital literacy programme is hosting the Girls In ICT Day celebrations that will bring together key stakeholders in the promotion of ICT and STEM related subjects and Careers, they include the parents and teachers of the students, private sector- Key Telecommunications companies- UN Agencies - UN Women, UNDP, UNFPA - members of Government- Minister of Gender , child and Social Welfare, Minister of General education and Instruction , Minister of Higher Education ,Science and Technology, Minister of ICT&PS and the Chairperson of the Parliamentary Specialized committee on Gender, Child and Social welfare, the chief Whip of Parliament and the speaker.Keynote speeches and remarks will be made together with presentations on the activities that had led to the day and the awarding of certificates to the girls who took part in the Digital Literacy training program.
