Description of the event
|
In recent years there has been a growing awareness of how important STEM subjects ( Science , Technology , Engineering , Mathematics ) are in the education of the younger generations. From 24 April until 9 May, we will open the registration for our path of excellence in STEM subjects. To improve knowledge of these subjects, the Polytechnic University of the Marche organizes a course of excellence aimed at 40 male and female students who will enter the last two high school classes in September (to encourage greater female participation, at least 60% of participants will be chosen among the candidates). The course will include 10 days of training in mathematics, information technology, physics and chemistry in which University professors and specialized trainers will guide students in innovative activities that make them discover the charm of science.During the course, which begins on 26 June and ends on 7 July , from 10:30 to 16:00, the participants, guided by university professors, will experience how to interact creatively with scientific subjects .
