Kampania Dziewczyny na politechniki! / Dziewczyny do ścisłych! (Girls as engineers! / Girls go science!)

Description of the event
|
Employees of technology companies, university employees, lecturers, but also students and graduates meet with students to tell them about their career path and professional fascinations. They invite girls to visit laboratories, organize workshops, lectures and shows for them, speed mentoring sessions - they give them a chance to touch what is being worked on in technical and science faculties. Ambassadors from universities/faculties and partner companies visit secondary schools, where they tell students why technical and science studies are right for them. Girls will also have the opportunity to visit the headquarters of partner technology companies during special meetings where they will meet women working in the industry - role models. They will learn what the company does, how to work in it, what are the possible career paths, what positions are recruited for and many more.In addition to online, social media, and offline outreach the national campaign will culminate with be the unveiling of a special inspirational mural on April 20, 2023.The campaign will also be present at Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2023 (the largest conference for women in tech in Europe).
