Description of the event
|
One of the important activities within the event is the visit of girls to companies and meetings with successful business women, who can serve as role models for girls. This year, the visits will be held live, with the possibility that, in agreement between the school and the company, the meetings can also be organized online. These visits will begin 19 April 2023.As a lead up to Girls Day, we will also host a video competition called "Capture an Idea" for girls in the 7th and 8th grades of elementary schools. Hosted from 20 March to 19 April, the competition encourages girls to be creative and come up with their own ways to solve some of the everyday challenges using digital technologies. In addition to valuable prizes, the names of the winners will be published on our website and on social networks on the International Day of Girls in the ICT Sector.
