Todos os anos, na quarta 5ª feira de abril, comemora-se o Dia Internacional das Raparigas nas TIC. Esta iniciativa da International Telecommunication Union (ITU) é um esforço global para aumentar a consciencialização sobre o empoderamento e encorajamento de raparigas e mulheres jovens a considerar estudos e carreiras em TIC.O IST-Taguspark junta-se a esta iniciativa com a apresentação do projeto GirlStem@IST-Taguspark que irá desenvolver um conjunto de atividades durante o ano para estimular a participação de raparigas nestas áreas.-------------Every year, on the fourth Thursday of April, the International Day of Girls in ICT is celebrated. This International Telecommunication Union (ITU) initiative is a global effort to raise awareness of empowering and encouraging girls and young women to consider ICT studies and careers. IST-Taguspark joins this initiative with the presentation of the GirlStem@IST-Taguspark project that will develop a set of activities during the year to encourage the participation of girls in these areas.
