Description of the event

Since 2018 NASA SCaN has been involved with the International Telecommunication Union’s (ITU) Girls in Information Communication Technologies (ICT) Day events. Girls in ICT Day is a global initiative to create an environment that empowers and encourages girls and young women to consider studies and careers in the growing field of information and communication technologies. It is celebrated internationally on the fourth Thursday of April. This year’s theme is “access and safety” in a digital environment.On Thursday, April 28th we’re hosting an international panel discussion of women representing science interests from around the world. A link to the workshop will be emailed to registrants prior to the event.
