Free remote programming workshop for women and girls* An initiation day into computer programming;* Inspirational meetings with specialists in digital and web technologies;* A friendly, fun and positive learning environment.To celebrate the International Day of Girls in ICT on 28 April 2022, CERN organizes a 100% virtual edition of Django Girls, a programming workshop for women aged 15 and over.Programme :> Thursday 28 April 20226 p.m. to 7.45 p.m.Installation party > Saturday 30 April 20229 a.m. to 4.15 p.m.WorkshopThis workshop will make you discover the art of programming by creating your own blog and publishing it on the web. Maybe will you be taken by the computing fever? You will be tutored by CERN web engineers. The workshop is designed for total beginners, so no programming background is needed. The goal of Django Girls is to bring new people into technology, especially women, who are under-represented in this field. Men may apply, but female candidates will have priority.The workshop and the installation party will take place via videoconference, using the Zoom software.
