Description of the event
|
On the occasion of Girls in ICT Day, on 22 April 2021 a short virtual get together is organised with our women colleagues of ICTA/BTK to discuss informally the key challenges that girls face today when willing to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEMs). The event was planned as part of the Network of Women (NoW) for Europe Girls in ICT national celebrations initiative.During the event, junior women colleagues had the chance to come together with the high-level women seniors at managerial positions to hear their experiences and to share ideas. The event crated and opportunity for young colleagues to hear about ITU’s Girls in ICT Day initiative and its global targets.
