Description of the event

The number of girls graduating with STEAM subjects is on the rise but most of them are not sure on how to start a career, progress and make it to the top. Such a “she-hesitation” is very visible when we interact with girls, especially first generation learners. This prompts us to host a session on “Opening Minds for Careers in STEAM” with special emphasis on careers in tech organizations. The senior women leaders who have consented to be a part of the panel discussion are championing the cause of Diversity and Inclusion at Oracle. We are sure they will build the confidence of girls and give direction to their future. In them , the girls will see a strong female role model who has grown to a fuller version today, moving up managerial levels, to a lead position, balancing family and work. Our end objective is to ensure girls have empowering career aspirations that stand the test of time, as they pass through various stages of life. They will also focus on Sales, Quality Assurance and Development as careers for girls. The three inspiring women leaders fromOracle are

·      Sheela Nambiar - Senior Sales Director - ODP Tech

·      Rekha Kumari - Director, EBS Quality Assurance

·      Geet Singh - PrincipalProduct Manager
