Due to COVID-19, BBC STEM2 and BBC WiSTEM3 are replacing the physical outreach events with an online offering. Year 8/9 girls (12 – 14 years old) and teachers from eight schools from England and Northern Ireland will join us for 3 hours via Zoom.
There will be demos and short tasks showing how ICT underpins much of what we do as broadcasters and a Q&A with BBC and EBU women engineers and technologists ready to answer questions about what they do. The event will finish with a quiz and, we hope, lots of girls saying they want to come and work with us at the BBC!
