The Space Communications and Navigation (SCaN) Program at NASA Glenn Research Center and TechGirlz have partnered to host an educational workshop on Tuesday, April 20th in honor of Girls in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Day. Girls in ICT Day is a global initiative to encourage young women to consider studies and careers in the ICT field.
Students in seventh and eighth grade are invited to learn all the different responsibilities that come with the title and become a web designer for the day. Learn how designers work in teams to define user needs, develop site architecture, and design visual components of a website. Attendees will need access to a computer, the internet and must create free accounts on Figma and Mural. Please have a writing utensil and paper close by for sketching.
