There is a gender imbalance in the tech industry and the best way to improve the situation is to open conversation with girls and have them excited. Gen Z have not seen the world without technology and thus are innately poised for success with technology. They will love to code, customize the apps, websites and software they use as well as create new ones. All that they want is an encouraging and friendly initiation by technocrats. Gender diversity is greatly valued by companies. The Girls in ICT Day champions the cause and we want to nurture eager-to learn girls.
