| ITU co-organized a joint session with UNDESA / DPIDG / UNPOG during the 2021 Open Government Partnership (OGP) Global Summit in the Republic of Korea on 16 December 2021. The session entitled “Digital Transformation for the Next Normal: Toward an Inclusive and People-Centered Digital Society in the Post-COVID-19 Era” aimed to bring together speakers representing various stakeholders, to discuss this issue and to support our members and the public in their accelerated efforts to recover from COVID and achieve the SDGs faster. ITU presented on ITU Facts and Figures 2021, digital government, GovStack, the Smart Islands initiative, the Partner2Connect Digital Coalition, WTDC, and highlighted the partnerships between ITU and UN DESA / DPIDG / UNPOG to achieve greater digital transformation in communities in Asia and the Pacific. |
