| The ITU Caribbean Office launched a new public education campaign in the Eastern Caribbean states of Antigua and Barbuda, Grenada and Saint Lucia, designed to combat misinformation about the COVID-19 pandemic and the stigma associated with mental health challenges, which have been on the rise since the beginning of the pandemic. The campaign involves the delivery of key messages via SMS and other electronic platforms, and is a collaboration between the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), ITU and the major telecommunications service providers in the Eastern Caribbean. The campaign will run for a period of eight weeks. |
